Old Business

Letter from Merit Association Management – Since Merit is encouraging districts to join an organizing effort for reasons that could potentially benefit Beacon Meadows, Wendy had agreed to participate in an online Zoom meeting in January.  However, she received no information about this meeting.  Therefore, she recommended that the topic be removed from the March Board meeting agenda.

Revisions to Board Meeting Signs – At the January Board meeting, Barbara had volunteered to contact the company that printed the metal inserts for the current meeting signs to request an estimate for inserts with the new day of the month and location of Board meetings.  However, since work commitments prevented her from doing so, Wendy offered to contact the company for information once she obtained the name from Barbara.

Major Repairs to Gunn Hwy. Wall – The topic has been tabled until a future Board meeting.

New Business

Torn Canvas on Canopy at Gunn Hwy. Entrance – Since the entrance has been refurbished and the wall has been restuccoed and repainted, Trustees agreed that the torn canvas on the canopy in the homeowner’s backyard (4734 Ridge Point Dr.) detracted from the subdivision’s appearance.  Penny suggested that the Board offer to remove the torn canvas free-of-charge.  Trustees agreed to this, so Penny will mail a letter with this offer to the homeowner whose name is on file in the County property tax records.

County Maintenance Issues – Wendy reported that a “No Trucks” sign prohibiting trucks from entering the subdivision is lying on the ground at the Gunn Hwy. entrance.  She volunteered to contact the County about this.  Dena asked who is responsible for repainting the speed bumps in the subdivision, since they have become difficult to see, especially at night.  Wendy agreed to pursue this issue with the County as well.

There being no further business, Penny made a motion, seconded by Wendy, that the meeting be adjourned, which was approved by a vote of 5-0.  Wendy adjourned the meeting at 7:22 p.m.
