Old Business

Unaudited Financial Statement Update – Barbara reported that she had not heard from King & Walker as to when she and Wendy, as Treasurer and President, will be able to certify the financial information entered into the State’s automated system.  However, she sent an email to King & Walker requesting that.

Suggestions for Small/Low-Cost Projects – The only project suggested was replacement of the pine bark mulch at both entrances.  Wendy requested an estimate from Jim Sears of Gator Property Management.  The estimate of $500 is for spreading pine bark mulch on both sides of both entrances ($125 per monument).  After discussion by Trustees, Penny made a motion, seconded by Wendy, that $500 (46.00) be approved for Gator Property Management to spread pine bark mulch on both sides of the Gunn Hwy. and Casey Rd. entrances.  The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.  Wendy will contact Mr. Sears to inquire about a start date for the project.

New Business

Renovation of Ditch along Casey Rd. Wall – Barbara expressed concerns about recent renovation of the ditch, since the incline into the ditch is now quite steep and erosion could occur, which could cause problems for maintaining the grass along Casey Rd. and eventually potential damage to the wall.  Penny agreed to contact County Public Works to inquire if additional measures will or could be taken to curb erosion.

Transfer of Funds Between Budget Categories – Barbara reported that the $240 annual fee for the District’s mail box was approved in the January 2022 Board meeting as an expense from the Rental budget category.  Since the mail box was previously an expense from the Communications budget category, she recommended transferring funds to the Rental budget category for this purpose.  After discussion by Trustees, Barbara made a motion, seconded by Wendy, that $240 for the annual mail box fee be transferred from the Communications budget category (41.00) to the Rental budget category (44.00).  The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.

There being no further business, Penny made a motion, seconded by Barbara, that the meeting be adjourned, which was approved by a vote of 5-0.  Wendy adjourned the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
