Old Business

Holiday Decorations – Anne submitted receipts in the amount of $99.50 for holiday decorations purchased by her for the entrances.  Barbara made a motion, seconded by Wendy, that Anne be reimbursed $99.50 (52.00) for the purchase.  The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.

Annual Renewal of Mail Box Agreement with UPS Store – Wendy submitted a receipt in the amount of $240 for annual renewal of the mail box.  Allen made a motion, seconded by Shirley, that Wendy be reimbursed $240 (44.00) for the expense.  The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.

Unaudited Financial Statement Update – Barbara reported that no update was available.

Outreach Email from County Tax Collector’s Office – After discussion by Trustees, it was agreed that the email was probably aimed at larger groups and there was no need for a representative from the Tax Collector’s Office to attend a Tax District meeting.  Barbara made a motion, seconded by Anne, that a representative from the Tax Collector’s Office not be requested to attend a future Tax District meeting.  The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.

New Business

Florida Commission on Ethics - 2021 Financial Disclosure Forms - Requirement for Electronic Filing – Wendy reported that these forms will be provided via each Trustee’s email address.  Wendy or another Trustee will send an alert to all Trustees when the forms are received so they are not overlooked by any Trustee.

Suggestions for Small/Low-Cost Projects – The only project suggested was replacement of the pine bark at both entrances.  Wendy agreed to ask Jim Sears of Gator Property Management if he could have his crew spread new pine mulch at both entrances and at what cost.  Barbara checked her records and reported that Jay’s Property Management spread 17 bags of mulch at each monument at the end of 2019 at a cost of $450.  If Wendy receives an estimate by the February 8, 2022 Board meeting, the Board will vote on the expense then.

There being no further business, Barbara made a motion, seconded by Anne, that the meeting be adjourned, which was approved by a vote of 5-0.  Wendy adjourned the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
