Secretary's Report
The minutes of the February 2021 meeting were read by Trustees in advance. Shirley made a motion, seconded by Wendy, that the minutes be approved. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.
Treasurer’s Report (February 2021) (rounded to nearest dollar)
Revenues: $1,230
Expenses:
Utilities (43.00) - $95
Landscape maintenance (46.00) - $800

Available to spend: $38,671
Barbara added that she had made an error in the previous month’s financial report. The $240 allocated from Repair & Maintenance (46.00) should have been allocated from Communications (41.00), since it was for the annual fee for the District’s mail box at the UPS Store.
Old Business
Revisions to Board Meeting Signs – Wendy reported that she was able to purchase printed inserts for the signs at Image 360. The total cost for four inserts for the two signs was $79.96. Barbara made a motion, seconded by Penny, that Allen be reimbursed $79.96 for the sign inserts. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0.
County Maintenance Issues – Wendy reported that she called County Public Works to report the issues. As a result, the “No Trucks” sign was reinserted in the ground and a pothole was filled at the Gunn Hwy. entrance and the speed bumps in the subdivision were repainted. Trustees expressed their appreciation for the County’s responsiveness.
Torn Canvas on Canopy at Gunn Hwy. Entrance – Since the entrance has been refurbished and the wall has been restuccoed and repainted, Trustees agreed in the February Board meeting that the torn canvas on the canopy in the homeowner’s backyard (4734 Ridge Point Dr.) detracted from the subdivision’s appearance. Penny wrote a letter to the homeowner outlining the improvements made over the past few years and advised of the Board’s offer to remove the torn canvas free-of-charge. Subsequent to the letter being mailed, the entire structure at the entrance was removed without any further communication with the homeowner.
Major Repairs to Gunn Hwy. Wall – The topic has been tabled until a future Board meeting.
New Business
2020 Election of Officers – Ordinance 09-7 requires that officers be elected after trustees are elected in even-numbered years. This was not done by the Board in October 2020, so Mary Mahoney of County Management & Budget advised that it must be done now to correct the records. Therefore, Barbara made a motion, seconded by Penny, that the following slate of officers be elected: Wendy McCrorey – President, Shirley Williams – Vice President, Barbara Appel – Treasurer, Penny Phillips – Secretary. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0. Penny will provide a copy of the minutes to Ms. Mahoney.
There being no further business, Wendy made a motion, seconded by Barbara, that the meeting be adjourned, which was approved by a vote of 5-0. Wendy adjourned the meeting at 7:33 p.m.
