Painting of Jackson Rd. Wall – Steve Norton Painting completed the project, and an invoice for $1,500 was submitted July 8.  Wendy and Allen inspected the work and found it to be satisfactory.  Therefore, Barbara will process payment of the invoice through TD Bank, and Penny will notify Mr. Norton.

Postcards to Recruit New Board Members – Barbara reported that the postcards will be mailed the week before the end of July so that they will be received prior to the August 12 Board meeting. It is critical that volunteers come forward, since three new Trustees are needed (see below).

New Business

Beacon Meadows Tax Assessment Roll – Barbara reported that she submitted this to the County on June 29.

Backflow Prevention Device Testing – Penny reported that a representative from Affordable Backflow Testing contacted her to ask if their testing services were needed again this year for $50 per entrance.  Since the cost had not increased, she told them to proceed.  The company also submits the required documents to the County.

Keys to Mailbox and Irrigation Systems – Barbara and Penny agreed to take responsibility for the keys to the mailbox at the UPS Store on Anderson Rd.  Responsibility for keys to irrigation systems is still to be determined.

Beacon Meadows Board Meeting Signs – Dena agreed to take responsibility for putting up and taking down the meeting signs at the entrances every month.

Wall Paint and Entrance Sign Cleaner – Barbara agreed to keep the wall paint at her house.  Dena agreed to keep the sign cleaner at her house.

Upcoming Resignation of Another Trustee – Carol announced that she is selling her house and moving to Odessa.  Therefore, she will be resigning at the end of September.  Since Carol had volunteered to be President of the Board after Wendy’s departure, another volunteer is needed.  Steve agreed to be President with assistance from Barbara and Penny.

There being no further business, Penny made a motion, seconded by Carol, that the meeting be adjourned at 7:38 p.m. The motion was approved by a vote of 7-0.
