Old Business

Status of FY23 Unaudited Financial Statement – Barbara reported that she is waiting for the State financial system to be accessible so the statement can be certified in that system, which should be in January 2024.

Repairs to Gunn Hwy. Wall – No update available. This topic was tabled until a future Board meeting.

New Business

County Watering Restriction – Wendy reported that she received the postcard from the County about the restriction which limits watering to once per week with the assigned day based on address.  Allen volunteered to reset the irrigation systems at both entrances.  Barbara provided the addresses for each entrance (4802 Ridge Point Dr. for Gunn Hwy. entrance and 11509 Cypress Park St. for Casey Rd. entrance).

Date/Time for Removal of Holiday Decorations from Entrances – It was agreed that the decorations would be removed on January 2, 2024 starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Casey Rd. entrance.

Purchase of Additional Holiday Decorations – Dena suggested that there be more colored lights and no white lights at the Gunn Hwy. entrance.  Trustees agreed.  She has other decorations that she will donate, plus extension cords, but will purchase more colored lights and submit receipts.

Beacon Meadows Holiday Decorations Contest – Dena suggested that the Board sponsor a holiday decorations contest next year for residents and advertise it in a local publication, with registration on the Beacon Meadows website. This would be in an effort to bring more attention to the Tax District.  Penny pointed out that the Board could not use Tax District funds for prizes.  Barbara also mentioned that the advertisement in the local publication would need to be free. The topic was tabled until a future Board meeting.

There being no further business, Barbara made a motion, seconded by Steve, that the meeting be adjourned at 7:17 p.m. The motion was approved by a vote of 6-0.
